Earliest Ki Blast

As a Centaur (with their 4 HD and 2 LA) what is the earliest level I can get Ki Blast?

I'm thinking it's 17+ as you need 8 BAB, (and two feats I plan to get as a monk) and a free feat, but I think I'm missing something.

Centaur (4 HD, +4 BAB) monk 6 (+4 BAB) fills the BAB requirement. That's at ECL 12.

WotC's customer service answered that question: "Fiery Fist is an alternative bonus feat for monks at 2nd level, and Fiery Ki Defense and Ki Blast are alternative bonus feats for monks at 6th level."

So, just scratch the part where it's written about monks.
