Early 3E memory in need of name, plot

Hi folks! I played in an early D20 mini-module in which the plot went something like: hordes of orcs are preparing to attack a town. You have two days to get there. Once you're there, you discover there are actually two warring factions of orcs bearing down on the town. You fight them in a fun romp through humanoid flesh.

Anyone know the name and the plot details?

Was it the one by Keith Strohm ... oh what was its name ... Dead of Winter? Wasn't it on a Dragon Magazine CD ... was it also released for free online at some point?

edit: ah, no, it was on the CD that came with the first printing of the 3.0 PHB, in a folder marked Extras.

I remember that one now. I had it on my HD before The Crash in November. :/ I never pulled it back over. However, that's not the one. The one I'm thinking of had just oodles of orcs attacking this poor village, and we were 6th-level characters (my DM played it as a one shot). The two orc armies could be played against each other for victory, but we ran it more as a raise-an-army-to-fight-another-army adventure. Our characters added steel to the villagers... and we increased the village militia by gathering from other villages on the way...
