Ease of Folding Grey Citadel into the Banewarrens/Ptolus?

Mazlo

First Post
Just a quick question for those who are familiar with Necromancer Games' "The Grey Citadel" adventure and Malhavoc Press' "The Banewarrens" and Monte Cook's Ptolus setting (as presented in the Banewarrens adventure and old posts of his original campaign journal.) Also, apologies to anyone who also reads the Malhavoc Ptolus boards or Necromancer Grey Citadel boards as this same request is cross-posted there (although no responses yet.)

I plan to run a group through the Banewarrens, set in Ptolus, sometime in the future. I was looking for a good city-based adventure for 5th level that would fit into Ptolus and I came across the Grey Citadel. From reviews I've learned it has investigation, NPC-interaction, and a dungeon beneath the city -- all good things for a Ptolus-based campaign. But I wanted to ask those who might be familiar with both first before buying, how easy do you think it would be to fold the Grey Citadel adventure into Ptolus?

Thanks,

Surely, someone out there has to be familiar enough with both products to have some thoughts about placing the Grey Citadel adventure in Ptolus. :)

i own both. but i haven't read them entirely b/c i'm currently a player in a campaign that uses the Banewarrens. read the story hour in my sig.

the DM (Olgar Shiverstone) folded City of the Spider Queen and Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil into the campaign too. so i try and avoid reading too much about various published adventures (in case they get used) even though i buy them.
