RPG Print News – Exalted Funeral, Horrible Guild, and More

Three new rulesets and campaign settings are available including both fantasy and urban fantasy. The new rules and setting of the Land of Eem are now available along with the new Wilderfeast rules and campaign setting. Urban Shadows is back in a second edition with plenty of support. Liminal Horror gets a hardcover adventure set in the haunted town of Hungry Hollow. Finally, some dice that are a bit bigger are out for those who want enhanced visibility when slinging polyhedrals.

  • DESCRIPTION: In Wilderfeast, the PCs are Wilders, mutated rangers who roam the land with an oversized cooking utensil in hand trying to stop the frenzy, an eldritch virus which makes kaiju-esque monsters violent and self-destructive before leaping to stronger hosts. PCs cook monsters, using the secret techniques to purify the frenzy. Each monster the PC eats mutates them further. Gameplay alternates between Journeys (high-intensity, travel and combat) and Downtime (low-intensity, rest and roleplay). In both phases, conflicts are resolved with a dice pool system. Includes 40 different Monsters, each with its own Traits, body Parts and Behavior that make every hunt unique. There is also a travel guide, exploring the One Land and the Sen Coast, with detailed maps and extensive tables of cooking ingredients. Finally, there are four adventures with pre-generated PCs. The Wilderfeast Guide Screen has a pocket to display Area and Monster cards (each deck sold separately) relevant to the current phase of the game.
