Easy Treasure?

Anthelios

First Post
Hello all.

I've been running D&D games for quite a long time, but with the new additions of DMG2, CM, and dozens of other books its getting to be a hassle to keep track of magic items, and especially mundane items scattered through the various books.

Now I've been working on compiling my books into one massive treasure list (for rolling random treasure.) For a long time I've gone with general value and placed items of worth, but theres just something classic about rolling for loot and seeing what pops up. This is fine, but theres no way to include all the new books and still come out with a balanced treasure for the EL.

I had resigned myself to the fate of compiling the list myself when I stumbled across a character sheet page that allows you to generate a spellsheet and select with books you have to generate the list. Its amazing.. What im wonderinf though, does such a site/tool exist for treasure generation?

Jamis Buck's generator is similar to what im looking for, but it is very far out of date. Perhaps theres a version of this out there somewhere updated with 3.5 books of all varieties?

I know there's the Magic Item Compendium coming out next year. Not sure if that will have a comprehensive magic item list though, would be nice.

While I agree, it will also become outdated as soon as there is a new book.

It would be nice to have a comprehensive list like the WotC feat list, but that's a large project to keep going.
