Easy way to improve 4E 100%

It wouldn't be D&D without at least some cheese. Actually, have you ever seen an RPG without any cheese? Some cheese is good.

Take out all the flavour text. Seriously, some of it is pretty cheesy.
I will agree 100%. The first thing I noticed was the PoL was the main focus of 4e... I won't be running PoL (because IMO it sucks buttermilk through a butt straw) therefore the fluff is irrelevant. Using just the crunch the system is quite stable (ie good mechanics) and doesn't suffer when you change the fluff to something completely different (ala Monty Python).

To sum up,
System good, fluff text bad.
Points of Light, not gonna do it.
4e is a winner - stay the course.

So I'm lurking in a thread in a web forum about how cheesy I wanted my fluff in a D&D book that's already been published with no hope of the cheese quotient within it being altered and then I type this.

Am I insane?
