Eberron as Movie/TV-Show?

Is it just me or would Eberron make a perfect setting for a Movie or, preferably, a Tv show? With the imagery of the lightning rail, the warforged, X'endrik and so on, it could look spectacular on screen, IMO. And all the different organisations would make for some interesting plots full of intrigue.
Perhaps get Joss Whedon and the cast and crew from Firefly to do it? :D

So, what do you think?

Actually theres an anime that this setting reminds me of called Full Metal Alchemist... its got magic, trains, and even a warforged type (although it was accidental).. im told it comes out in the US August 5th.

You know, some friends of mine and I were just discussing the fact that Hasbro should come up with a new D&D Saturday morning cartoon, since doing so might repopularize roleplaying in the younger generation. And we were just saying that Eberron, if done in a slightly more anime style (not because that's what we personally like, but because it's what's popular) would be perfect. :)

I'm sure WotC are thinking about it, though they'll wait until they're sure the campaign setting (and modules, novels, etc) is a success.

Geoff.

I'm sure that they'd have an easier time selling an eberron cartoon to one of the networks if it had a computer game or to behind it. Especially if those game sell well.

If I recall correctly, the D&D MMORPG will be set in the Xen'drik region of Eberron.

Eberron is interesting and all, but I'm an old-schooler who'd like to see a show set in a more conventional D&D setting like FR or Greyhawk. Those settings are capable of endless stories as well.
