Eberron CS Errata

First Post
Figured with all the interest in Eberron, we might start compiling a list of not-as-yet published errata (statements by WotC folks or Keith Baker only-not just items someone thinks are wrong). Here are two:

(1) The item creation feats Exceptional Artisan, Extraordinary Artisan, and Legendary Artisan are incorrectly noted in the footnote on page 49 as being open for selection multiple times and that the effects stack each time. Each feat may only be taken once, but the effects from each separate feat would stack (so someone could feasibly reduce time, gp cost, and xp cost all by 25% by taking all three feats). (Source: Keith Baker on EN World forum message Keith Baker (creator of Eberron) Q & A thread).

(2) Talenta Sharrash Critical information is incorrect. (Source: Keith Baker on EN World forum message Keith Baker (creator of Eberron) Q & A thread). ). No correction has been stated as yet.

Not just questions, its also for discussions and things about the mechanics themselves. I just say this because the last several errata threads were there, such as for the XPH and CD.

The sample NPC for the "Heir of Siberys" prestige class doesn't meet the prerequisites of the class. The class requires 15 ranks in any two skills, and Rurik D'Kundarak has 17 ranks of Intimidate, 9 ranks of Spot, and 9 ranks of listen. At 12th level (when he qualified for the prestige class) it was 15 ranks of intimidate and (at most) 7 ranks of Spot and 7 ranks of Listen.

Probably right on moving this to D&D Rules. Moderators?

And to add another errata item:

King Boranel ir'Wynarn is listed with conflicting class level information, once in the general description of Breland on page 142 and again in the Government and Politics section on page 144.

More errata/clarifications:

Can Daelkyr really use their slam attack more than once in a turn?

The MM says "In general, a creature attacks once with each natural weapon it has" -- in this case, the daelkyr is an exception to the rule. Personally, I would see the "slam" of the daelkyr as the unarmed strike of the monk, especially since the dolgaunts practice a monastic tradition; I'd allow the daelkyr to make the attack with fists, elbows, knees, or feet, and to inflict lethal or nonlethal damage. However, it does not possess a flurry of blows or other monk abilities; it's simply a deadly and skilled unarmed fighter.

How much mithral or adamantine can be stripped from the corpse of a dead warforged?

The short answer is that you cannot recover a meaningful amount of adamantine from the body of a warforged. The warforged will certainly be examined in more detail in the future, so a more detailed explanation will be forthcoming.

Along these lines,

I'm still at the "skimming" stage of reading the book*. I know that a few people had printer errors. What pages are those on? How can I tell if my book is suspect without really reading through the whole thing?

* tangent: I LOVE skimming through RPG books. Just about one of the few hobbies where you can really do that. When I'm done skimming, I see how easy it is to make a fighter/wizard which is one of my favorite roles. Just sharing.

Yep, errata threads belong in Rules. (As does any thread with the following words in it: broken, shafted, fix, nerfed. Also "build the best character for doing XYZ." Also any thread with math in it. :D)
