Keith Baker: I'll jump on this because it's quick. Yes, this is a mistake. You should not be able to take any of these feats multiple times. Although for what it's worth, their effects stack with one another.

So, my daughter is going through the Eberron setting, and noticed that on the Feats table, Legendary Artisan (and the other similar feats) have the indication that they can be taken multiple times, and that the effects stack.

So... She want sto take Legendary Artisan 4 times to reduce the XP cost of making magic items to 0%.

Typo? Errata?

I would say it doesn't work that way, otherwise one of them would lewt you craft items instantaneously. My guess (or if I'm DM my ruling) would be that each additional feat takes 25% off the remaining total

ie for a 100 xp item with 4 of the appropriate artisan skills
100 - (100*.25) = 75 - (75*.25) = 56.25 - (56.25 * .25) = 42.1875

42.1875 - (42.1875 *.25) = 31.64 --> 0r 32 xp.

So the law of diminising returns takes hold. Seriously can you really let someone craft an Iron Golem for 0 xp?

And since I didn't read Keiths blurb properly I look like an idiot

FWIW, if for some reason they did stack, it would indeed reduce it to zero. The rules for stacking multipliers go the other way, too. ;)
