[Eberron] Lord of Blades, the Ra's Al Ghul of Eberron?

First Post
I'm sitting here reading Five Nations and had a thought hit me about The Lord of Blades. From his description, he sounds like the perfect fantasy version of Ra's Al Ghul. Immortal (or so it seems), dedicated to the point of near madness, highly intelligent, charismatic, and has an entire army at his disposal. Has anyone else thought about making this guy into a BBEG using the Ra's Al Ghul idea and template, so to speak?

I've always thought of the Lord of Blades as closer to Dr. Doom, really. Although that could be the warforged-armor connection. And I love the idea that there's imitation Lord of Blades running around furthering the goals of the real one.

Demiurge out.

He really hasn't be around long enough (at least, as the Lord of Blades) to be considered Immortal. Of course, as long as you have him as a warforged, he is likely immortal.

Keith Baker said that the main inspiration for the LoBster was the Dr. Doom from the John Byrne-era Fantastic Four comics. But I can see the case for Ra's. Or Magneto.

In fact Smith (the warforged cleric described in Sharn:CoT) and the LoBster make for fine versions of Xavier and Magneto.
