i saw someone mention, recently, an issue of 'dungeon' that had a poster sized map of eberron.
can anyone tell me the issue number?

Dungeon 113, but it's out of print. I don't know if the PDf version includes it.

The Eberron DM screen has a map of Khorvaire.

The Eberron DM screen has a map of Khorvaire.

A much, much better map of Khorvaire, in fact.

Of course, it is downloadable from the WotC site (search for the Eberron Campaign Setting web enhancement). The trick is finding an affordable way to print it out.

If you get the DM screen, make sure you laminate the map ASAP. It's pretty fragile.

Most college print shops should be able to print and laminate the map for about $10-20

Be careful when you take poster maps to a print shop for lamination. Some places only do thick laminations of poster map dimensions, and those aren't intended for use with photo paper. It will cover the map with wrinkles and may bunch up or tear.

I recommend running test paper through the machine you want to use, before you trust it with your poster maps.
