Eberron source material - loooong wait?

I would say it is more or less as I expected. I think that it might be a little too long in between sourcebooks but as others have said WOTC is making ammends by all the web content and we are seeing plenty of material in Dragon and Dungeon as well.

Looking forward to seeing the new stuff! I got the first novel in the Dreaming Dark series this weekend, so I am hoping that helps fuel thoughts about the setting as well.

Um, Driddle, why ask the question?

If you want an honest answer: Yes, it has been sufficient, for me at least. Gives me a chance to read up on the stuff, and it also gives me a chance to buy things OTHER than Eberron material. There are other games out there I'd like to experience, and fewer Eberron material releases means that I'm not pressured to buy "Eberron or Bust", because then WotC would lose money from me as I check out other stuff.

Wow, Driddle's <blaaaat!> made want to say 'No, there's too much already, they need to support the All My Children RPG instead...' What a strange reaction.

Why ask the question if you already have your answer? That was both silly and rude.

The Auld Grump, who does not own, but does rather likes the look of, Eberron.

Ehh, you guys take this too seriously.

When the response is 99.9 percent in favor, the only reason for me to post such an obnoxious "You're Wrong!" message is to bump the thread. I just wanted to see if it would garner a few more opinions before sinking into the realm of No Further Discussion Necessary.

*bzzzt!* Wrong answer. The correct response is, "bump." But since you didn't answer correctly, you lose the $100.00, the free cheese whiz, and the plastic yellow cocktail sword.

I'm lovin' Eberron, by the way, and really looking forward more to the Five Nations than Races of Eberron, if truth be told.

Actually, to me, it seems like they have really stepped-up the FR production schedule when you compare it to the previous years. Perhaps that is what's causing the Eberron materials to creep out at a bit of a slower pace than might be expected in a new release.

I'd rather they step up the pace JUST a bit. After Sharn came out, April is a little long to wait for Races of Eberron and Five Nations doesn't come out until July. However I do know that they are already spreading themselves just a bit thin right now with their D&D, Forgotten Realms, Eberron and D20 lines so I can't be too bitter.
Other than that I am happy.
Don't forget the three adventures that have been released in that period also; the third one only a few weeks ago.

I haven't been able to play out all the stuff I've already got. So I don't really need new stuff. I'm wondering what I'll do with Races, since my PCs are already made, and it looks like my gaming schedule will take until at least mid summer before I'm thru with the GotEC.

I do need to get the first novel tho.

PS

When they release the 'deluxe' character sheets and 'deluxe' DMG, then it'll be too much! :p

I think part of WoTC reasoning with releases is that most of their material is useable for any campaign setting and they want to avoid releasing too much specific material too closely together.

have we had a month where an Eberron and FR RPG book were out at the same time?
