ECL for Pseudodragon?

So I've got the new issue of Dragon, with ECLs for a jillion monsters from the MM, and the pseudodragon doesn't seem to be included. (If it is, point it out to me, please!)

So...what would the ECL of the pseudodragon be? I expect it'd be more used in determining levels for a cohort, but one never knows...

Hmm. Interesting. It seems that the ones at this site are consistently lower than the ones in the Dragon article (The Tarrasque is only ECL +64, not +80...gee...how munchkin. )Obviously this is far more of an art than a science.

For folks who have used these values, how do they work? Do you get a lot of people playing monsters for the "cool" value? Dothey outnumber humans? I'm wondering if the higher Dragon numbers are some sort of reaction to that. I know there's a significant number of monster PCs on the online game I occasionally play at, and as far as I can tell it's because of a percieved "uniqueness" factor.
