Ed Stark's announcement

For those of you who come here straight, rather than through the front page:

Just so you know ... the people who do hear back that they're setting submissions are moving on to the next stage will almost certainly be asked not to say anything, as Wizards wants to continue the "blind process." The reviewers don't want to know whose submissions they're reading, so, hopefully, you won't see anyone on these boards declaring they've moved on in the process.

This may make finding partners to assist with submissions more difficult.

It rather depends on whom the winners are being asked to not say anything *to*....

(You mean you didn't line up your partners *before* finding out that you didn't "win"?) :D

Vaxalon,

"Wanted: freelance writer to contribute to fantasy writing project. Please submit references and samples of work."

There, you're done. Of course people may read between the lines and assume you're in the second tier, but that is their personal assumption. Hey, you could just be looking for encounters or magic items for the next Asgard for all they know.

As a side note, I see you live in VA. You could always check the sidebards to see who else is in your area and see if they are interested. A sizeable portion of the internet is from the DC area since it's like Silicon Valley east out here. You'll probably find more than you expect.
