I was depressed this morning when I read this list and my friend Scott Wegener (Atomic Robo) didn't win. He made the trip from NH and was really hoping for a win.
 

I missed the Eisners, but did try to buy a bunch of stuff that was nominated. I was really surprised to find that Fantagraphics was either out of stuff or hadn't even brought it to the con! Top Shelf had a better supply, but they generally only bring their own books. Mile High was out of Eisner books as well. I never did get a chance to check Bud Plant. On speaking with Jonah from comicbookresouces he said he was hearing that sales were very strong and a lot of booths were out of their indie titles early on, which I suppose is a good sign for the indie comic creators.

That's good to hear that comics aren't being swept aside by all the Movie/TV hyperbole...
