Good point on the retraining, keterys! I love that every level you can try out something new and ditch it if it's uncomfortable.

Staggering Spin is also worth looking into as a way to break up formations and concentrate damage in a party with a strong melee component.

I love Pike Hedge. My warlord got to inflict automatic damage to a whole lot of monsters during tonight's game, including some baddies with incredibly high defences. The auto-pop on minions was delightful as well.

It's a keeper.

Oddly, and perhaps mistakenly, I retrained my also 7th level warlord out of Pike Hedge. If the enemies are happy standing where they are, it doesn't do a whole lot. Then again, I've had some underwhelming results from Rock and a Hard Place too.

I find many monsters don't like to stand still when they're flanked by a pair of rogues. :>

This is a really good point -- more so than any other class, IMO, what powers you choose for your warlord and how they perform depends heavily on who is in your party.
