This announcement is for a library "class" for kids in grades 6-12. This is our third time running this kind of summer library event. It is primarily targeted at kids who have never played an RPG. (If you're on ENWorld, you're not the target audience, but might know someone who is).

We will give a short introduction to role playing and to the new 5th edition of Dungeons and Dragons (around 15-20 minutes, tops, I promise). Then we'll jump into the action by playing a special custom adventure, The Frozen Crypts of Highpass.

What do participants need to bring?
Just a good attitude and your imagination. You may want to bring snacks for yourself. Everything else is provided.

What does it cost?
There is no charge. Participants will get a set of dice to take home.

Who can participate?
Anyone going into grades 6 through 12 can come. We anticipate having between 5 and 15 adventurers. It would really help to have an estimate of how many people to expect, so please register. If you just show up, we'll do our best to get you in, but no promises. If parents/guardians want to play, we may squeeze them in as well, space permitting. Why should kids have all the fun?

Where and When?
