Elemental Evil Player's Companion Now Available in Print!

Drivethru is offering a POD version of the Elemental Evil Player's Companion (premium and standard).

While that's awesome all by itself, I'm hoping it means that older titles will become POD as well.

Nice find. $8.00 is way cheaper than OfficeMax was willing to charge ($15) to print the same thing.

I hope too that some of the modules and softcovers become PoD, but I'm not sure about the hardcovers/box sets.

For anyone wanting to track delivery time, I purchased it today, and I will try to remember to post when it arrives. Generally, delivery estimates are pessimistic.

Unless its Canada Post. Then when they say 6-8 weeks they really mean we'll lose your package and then maybe, if you ask nicely, we'll pay out the insurance you bought to actually protect against those sort of things.

Mod Edit: No links to copyright infringers, please. Thanks! ~Umbran

Just curious if the link in question was to the Basic Rules. The BR give permission to print or copy for personal use, but forbid resale. I would think that someone printing the BR via Lulu for personal use would be fine.

I ordered it on the 16th. Came home today and it had arrived! 8 days, not bad considering they were expecting weeks.

Good quality, but I already knew the contents, so no surprises. For $14 including S&H I'm very happy with it. If they offer this on other similar products I'd take them up on it and buy those as well.

Any photos?

Premium PoD from DTRPG are excellent quality. Always go for the premium version.

It looks like it will be an excellent addition to my shelf, then.

If WotC is watching this thread, some titles I would be interested in purchasing in POD:

* Player's Handbooks from every edition except 4th (which has moved into online tools), 5th (I already own this), and AD&D 1e (I own the reprint).
* Dungeon Master's Guides from every edition except 4th (as noted) and 5th (I already own this).
* Monster Manuals from every edition except 4th (as noted) and 5th (I already own this).
* Second, third, etc. volumes from every edition except 4th (as noted), save for 5th edition, as it is still under publication and thus I would go to one of the local game stores.
* I am especially interested in many volumes of 3.5 becoming POD, especially adventures (if they can be completely reprinted) and expansions on core not tied to a specific setting.
* The entirety of d20 Modern.
* The SAGA edition, save that I understand this would be highly unlikely, with the license expired.
