ELH I'm dissapointed!

Okay, I got the Epic Level Handbook the other day and I was extremely dissapointed. Why? Simply because it showed the class progressions up to 40th level and even upon reaching 40th level, players aren't taught to cast REAL spells. Come on WotC what level do I have to have to be to get the "real power"? In Dark Dungeons a player was taught real spells after reaching only 7th level. Yet neither the PHB nor the ELH tell me what level I need to reach to learn real spells. Or for that matter what level does my barbarian need to reach before I can really become a raging brute?

That was vague. What's a real spell? How does one defining a raging brute? Perhaps your standards are too high. Hard to say without any reasons or factual information.

I think I need to cast a true ritual just to decipher WHAT it is he/she is complaining about. Anyone else want to try it with me? ;)

I'm guessing Crothian is being drily humorous, in keeping with shadow's clever referencing of notorious D&D-basher Jack Chick's opus - Dark Dungeons. Ah, for the days when people could actually be roped into believing that D&D actually taught people to cast "real" magic spells with real world effects. I'm gettin' all nostalgic...

Look up Dark Dungeons at a search engine. You've been Trolled. Or just fell for a silly attempt at humor.
