Elven Cleric

I am thinking of playng an Elven Cleric in the next D & D game Im playing in. It is in the Forgotten Realms setting. I am think ing of following 'C.L.' himself. We are using a 30 point buy system for stats starting at 8. Iw as wondering if people could give me some idea of what type of elf i shoudl be and some ideas for stats. I am thimking of been a more combative cleric.

Try an elven archer cleric. The FR setting gives you access to some great domains for archery like Elf, Time. With that many stat points, you'll have no trouble getting Dex 13, a good Str, Con and Wis. Use the Zen Archery feat to take advantage of your Wis.

Take Quicken Spell and Divine Metamagic so you can buff up fast. Quicken + Divine Favor is great. Quicken + True Strike is awesome.
