Ha. I already submitted. And we're seeing eye to eye here, too. Really, what I meant by "Flavour" ended up translating as "This is typically worn by people X, and those who do Y" and a quick description (10 words or so) what it looked like. Really, just a few lines of flavour.

Yeah, that kind of stuff is almost a given. I wouldn't even consider that to be fluff text. It's the people that are trying to include a detailed account of the creator's family lineage going back six generations that are having difficulty with the 200 words.

The thing that kills me are the people that are going over word count with the attitude of, "oh they won't care if I'm a few (dozen) words over." They're already rejecting entries for that very thing.

Good luck with your entry. I've written mine, but I'm going to let is stew for a while, just in case I want to change it before the due date.

Thanks. I went over mine a few times today, and then sent it out so it would stop bothering me an I could get some homework done. Hope to see you in the first 32, eh?

The one thing that makes me nervous is how the titles get put up. Are our names on it when they first go up? Meaning, will everyone know that "The Awesome Sock of Awesomeness" is Wik's idea?

Because that would definately favour some of the people who post at Paizo's boards a lot more regularly than I.

Idea I rejected but want to share (no real write-up, I never got that far)

Necklace of Teleportation

Basic idea: the necklace allows a greater teleport to be done by the user, but only once per user EVER. Though any death which costs a level or CON point would reset it for you.

I thought it was cute. A very simple variation on a standard item, but it could create a plot point.
