Emerald Press, a d20 PDF publishing company, is currently looking for allies in our quest to bring great gaming material to a thirsty public. We are looking for highly motivated, professional individuals looking to gain attention in the d20 gaming community and make a name for themselves. In short, we want to be able to say: “Do you see that writer/artist/editor? He used to work for Emerald Press. He used to work for us.”
Cover Artist – 1 position available
The cover of a good sourcebook/adventure can become one of the main selling points, drawing in people before they are able or willing to open its pages. We are looking for an artist to do such a task: interesting, full-colour artwork pieces for our line of products who is able to complete them in a timely manner.
We are looking for a cover artist who will be able to complete 15+ cover pieces over the course of two years. Interior pieces are not a requirement but are also encouraged should the individual be interested. We are not looking for experience, but skill, drive, and professional motiviation. All cover artists receive 10% of the selling price for all copies sold of each project they are attached to and are also encourage to help out with other projects such as Emerald Night, our sister site, and their seasonal publication, Emerald Night Quarterly. A knack for completing artwork in various styles and formats would be a benefit as well.

After reviewing your material, we will ask for a specific piece to be done in colour to evaluate each candidates ability to complete specific assignments in a timely manner. All completed art submissions will be used for the covers of the Emerald Night Quarterly e-zine, even if they are not accepted, with full credit being given to the artist and links provided to their website (if applicable).
