Natural Refund
This feat allows you to purchase PDFs and PODs from Emerald Press with the chance of winning a complete refund of a product.
Benefit: Every 20th product in the 1-in-20 program sold by Emerald Press PDF Publishing is free. The purchase price will be refunded. This feat is a free action at RPGNow. The user must make a DC 25 Will save or else suffer extreme appreciation and gratitude to the publisher. Creatures without an Intelligence score, elementals, and undead cannot use this feat.
Normal: All customers pay full price for every copy they buy, barring any promotions, sales, or giveaways.
Special: This feat can be used multiple times, but only for a single product at a time. Fighters can select this feat as a bonus feat. Besides, all of our products are special.

Okay, so what does this feat really mean?
Starting August 22, 2005, every PDF and POD with the 1-in-20 logo on the front cover, will be tracked by the publisher. For every 20th 1-in-20 product will refund the price of that product through Paypal, therefore granting it to them for free. Once we have given away a free product, the counter starts over, until we make our 20th sale once more, and so forth and onward.
There is no limitation to the dollar amount of the product, as long as it features the 1-in-20 logo on the front cover, meaning that you can save anywhere from $1 to $15. For example, every product in the Campaign Options, Character Options, and Combat Options are available through this program. Future promotions may be available to temporarily include other items in the 1-in-20 program.
All refunds will be given through Paypal. If your original purchase was made using a credit card transaction, we will offer you a credit for the amount of your refund for any other purchase on RPGNow instead as these credit card transaction were not handled by Emerald Press PDF Publishing.
This program is only available through RPGNow and does not count towards products from any other retailer.
Example: Billy picks up a copy of Character Options: Commoners (which just happens to be our latest release, by the way) for $5 US on RPGNow. The publisher -- that's us -- is notified of the sale, which is tracked as the 20th sale. Billy receives an email informing him that his purchase of Character Options: Commoners was the 20th sale and he will receive a full refund of $5 US for his purchase.

Do I have to sign up for anything to get a refund?
No. All that we require is that you buy one of our products, as you would have planned already. The 1-in-20 program is automatic to all of our customers through RPGNow.
What happens if I buy multiple products at once?
We will notify you of the exact product marked at the 20th sale, as tracked by the publisher, and arrange the refund/credit for it.
Can I still receive the PDF discount towards a POD from RPGNow if I win my refund?
Yes. Any refunded purchase will still count as a paid transaction. This refund is offered by the publisher, not the sales website, which keeps track of such information.
Do I have to buy another Emerald Press product with my refund/credit?
No, you can use that towards anything you like. We would appreciate it if you did buy another one of our products, but you are not required to do so?
Do I have to cover any shipping costs for a free POD?
