EN World 2 gets nearer and nearer!

It's still a work in progress, but those of you using Firefox (not IE yet, unfortunately - but we'll get it working in that) can see it so far here:

Ignore the news content - it's just copied and pasted from old EN World news. It's not current or anything.

And remember, it's not nearly finished. There are some layout issues, the front page is looking a bit blocky and regular (we'll be experimenting with other article box sizes), and you may see broken images here and there.

Note that in EN World II, community supporters can turn ads off completely. For advertisers, there's a really spiffy new advertising system.

Probably one of many bugs yet to be ironed out - but your old account is imported over there from here. You *should* be able to just log in.

Microsoft says IE8 is written to standards - so if they aren't lying it will work because the page is written to standards.

If you can force a news story to an older date, you might want to place one as the very oldest that includes a link to Eric's old archives of news prior to the switchover.
