EN World Booth Volunteers Needed!

Piratecat said:
I'll be there, and I'll be volunteering! I'll probably be on from 9:30am - noon on Sunday morning. Who wants to come keep me company?

I'm so glad you're able to be with us! Thanks for volunteering.:)

well, it's official. due to financial concerns and the baby, Mrs. Boz will be sticking around at home this year. since everyone beat me to signing up for a spot, if you see me coming by and happen to have a third chair handy, please think kindly on me. ;)

By the way...

We'll probably need some help from ushers for the night of the ceremony.

Thanks, everyone, for signing up, and thank you Buttercup for getting this all together!

Everyone please note!

Because we want everyone to know that EN World & the staff and volunteers working the ENnies booth are above reproach, it is essential that we do not wear or display logos or advertising for any publisher while we are working the booth.

In other words we shouldn't wear:

- t-shirts, lanyards, buttons or any other article of clothing that promotes a real company or real product.
- have merchandise or other product laying around. When we're working the booth, we aren't doing game prep, for instance. Instead we're meeting and greeting.

Some examples of what *not* to wear would include (but are not limited to) White Wolf clan pins, D20 logos, anything with WotC, D&D or other similar logos.
Some examples of what are *perfectly ok* to wear would include a hat of D02 (which knows no limit), generic gamer t-shirts with various witty sayings, regular street clothes.

If you have an EN World t-shirt, or a GenCon t-shirt or polo, or any other article of clothing with the EN World or GenCon logos, those things would be a great choice to wear while you're working the booth.

If you aren't sure whether or not something is ok, please don't wear it. We really don't want anyone to get the idea that booth volunteers have some sort of hidden agenda.

Now, I have one more request. Would all booth volunteers please post here to acknowledge that you have read this? Thanks in advance. I really appreciate everyone's willingness to help out!:)

So if I understand things correctly:

Orc And Pie Shirt (from Monte Cook) = Bad

"Party Leader" shirt = Good

'zat right?
