He wanted to become an actor - even though his parents hide this part of his mothers history from him. In one misty-moonless night -after one of the several argument with his parents - he fled and after a dangerous journey he finally reached Mor's End. Striken fromthe greatness and manifoldness of this city he decided to fullfill his dreams here. </p><p>He changed his name (into Nuriel Anvariel) and posed with his elfish-like looking. But having no patron, having no one to speak for him he hadn't had the slightest chance to get into those insider deals within the theater. </p><p>Homeless and with broken dreams he wandered to the streets and got more and more desperated. He even thought to return to his home. But then he met a <em>blind</em> beggar. Somehow he was drawn to her. Unknown to him she was a recruiter and head hunter for an evil cult of Demorgorgon. She lulled him and druged him. </p><p>Now he had a role the role of his life, beeing the victim in a demon calling ceromony. Pityfull it would be his last. </p><p>He was bound to alatar and the high priest (a genuine half-elf) chanting and singing. Speaking the words to fullfill the ritual. </p><p>"<em>Is this a dagger I See before Me?</em> - Or will it be your heart? - Now the dagger is outside your chest and your heart is hidden beneath the bones. And now"</p><p>In that moment Nuriel was coverd ina fontain of blood. He didn't feel any pain though. The singing has stopped and the were other noises he couldn't reconize. He dared to open his eyes and saw an man -no a god-mad out of <em>gold</em> coming down to rescue him. He passed out. </p><p>What happend? </p><p>A neighbour an old man, alarmed Karl Gnadensohn a paladin from the local militia that there were <em>strange noises from the cellar</em></p><p>Karl Gnadensohn packed some fighters and together the stormed the cellar. Karl has smashed the skull of the high priest and some of the cultist fight and some fled. After healing Nuriel with his healing touch ability Karl rushed after those fleeing. </p><p>Somehow in the whole trouble Nuriel awoke and managed to free himself. Shocked from this expirence he lost his ablity to speak. </p><p>He also started to become a cleric of Karl Gnadensohn. Karl being no cleric vcan't grant spells (yet) but his diety allows Nuriel to cast orisons. </p><p>Now Nuriel is painting himself every day with golden paint and posing as a mime and as "Living <em>golden</em> Statue". </p><p>He tries several things with that.</p><p>First he wants to render homage to his god, than he also wants to entertain people to get something to eat and when he mets some of the cultists that got away he wants to get the militia to arrest them. But they all laugh and think he is just a funny <em>golden</em> mime. Sometimes he get arrested for molesting honorable citizens, but the militia likes him and giving him food and shelter for some days. He entertains them in prison. </p><p>Plot Hooks. </p><p>1) The players see the <em>golden</em> Statue and the mime makes fun of them. </p><p>2) The players see how Nuriel desperatly tries to accuse an citizen.</p><p>3) Karl Gnadensohn hires the PC to find that former victim.
