EN World Members: D&D / D20 Bragging Rights

Hmmm, I've got a setting book coming out, I contributed to Waysides, I've done some upcoming work for Atlas, I'm doing some minor work for Herogames, I'm currently working on another full book for the same people as the setting, and I've got proposals coming out of my ... well ... that I've yet to send off.

I'm the guy who writes the script for the Zogonia comic in Dragon Magazine. Plus I draw it.

heh, tony

Your actually one of the main reasons I pick up Dragon these days...because your little comic strip is IMHO better than some of the Nodwick stuff I have read. I am glad that you have that little corner of the Magazine to call your own...

That strip has grown on me recently. The characters have become more animated, but the art is still rather stiff. (Don't tell me how you manage to pull that off.:)).

I really liked the one in Dragon 299. Dang fool really blew his Bluff check, didn't he?:)

Think you might make the San Diego Comic Con in 2003? Join Foglio, Kovalic, and (if he shows up) Williams in planning some sort of crossover insanity.

Tony,

don't you do some of the other art too? (I recall something about one of the map inserts... or am I mistaken. dang these hangovers :D)

That's right, I worked on two posters in recent issues of Dragon: a castle poster, and, with Anthony Waters, a large-room poster. :]

I also wrote and illustrated an article published in last year's April issue. And I illustrated an article by Cory Herndon and Jill Stark in this year's April issue.

I've been doing the Caption Contest for Dragon since it began (issue 285).

I did a bunch of cartoons for the new Gaming Frontiers periodical.

I playtested Godlike! (...very cool game!!)

Let's see...what else have I done related to D&D/d20..........?

I entered a submission to Wizard's Setting Search competition!!! :]

An interesting idea, but I feel like I'd need to make installments of Zogonia for two or three years before proposing a crossover to any of those super-funny guys. But thanks for putting the idea in my head (for later).

Regarding my attending the San Diego Comic Con in 2003...At this point in time, I'd give it a one-in-four chance.

It hasn't been finished yet, but I just signed a deal to write a campaign setting. Hopefully, I'll be able to tell you all about it in a couple months when the publishing date is closer.

The only other thing I wrote (converted) of any note was a conversion of Alternity Cybernetics rules for D20 that I guess a few people were using fairly regularly.

I'm done tooting my own horn now,
Kane

Not a huge list, but I have got a couple of things. I was credited in the Forgotten Reamls source books Powers & Patheons and Demihuman Deities for ideas and material discussed on the FR mailing list (used to be alot more active on it a couple of years ago, am more of a lurker now). Not sure exactly what was used of mine though, probably just ideas inspiration I guess.

More recently I was an editor and provided additional design contributions for the Auran d20 modules Shades of Grey, Dark Awakening: Guardian, Dark Awakenings: Shadowlands, and the soon to be released Sanctuary. Also I wrote the Notes from the Apothecary article on the Auran d20 website.

Thats about it for me though, my full time profession is as an e-commerce software engineer, I am just fortunate enough to be working in that capacity for Auran at the moment. :)
