• NOW LIVE! Into the Woods--new character species, eerie monsters, and haunting villains to populate the woodlands of your D&D games.

D&D 5E EN5IDER is almost here!

Could someone confirm whether they can download any of the sample articles? I can't download anything from anywhere on Patreon right now - my own stuff, other peoples', nothing.

I can open the PDF's on my PC, but I can't open them on my phone.

How hard would this be to print in color and get bound in some (cheap) manner? Is the format such that color printing will look right on standard paper?

Edit - Answered my own question by simply clicking on the line. Yes, it is formatted with printing and three-ring-binder in mind.

Yeah, the inspiration was kinda like the 2E Monstrous Compendiums crossed with DDI. The idea is to fill a binder with them.

If you're willing to get them printed in China, it would probably cost about $2.00/ea (USD) or less, and take about 3 months or so. Minimum order would be probably 1000-2000.

The binders, you mean? I hadn't considered that, to be honest, but have no storage or shipping facilities which are both additional costs. If the whole thing takes off in some kind of explosive enthusiasm, maybe it's an avenue worth tentatively exploring, but right now I'm considering $250 per article the main goal, which will just about cover costs.

I have both storage and shipping facilities, and a shipping agent that secures the whole transport portion - ocean transport, customs entry, permitting, bond, warehousing, loading, trucking, and unloading to our warehouse in Los Angeles (and I have the forklift to unload it as well). At that point we could ship using our UPS, which is done at a discount from the public rates due to the quantity I already ship out of our offices (and DHL intentionally). If you decide you want to explore that option more at some point, we can talk off-line. There is some complexity to it, but nothing that cannot be done.
