ENBoards giving you an inferiority complex???

This isn't really about the technical aspects of the boards, so i figured maybe I could post this here. Does anyone else feel dwarfed by the sheer amount of talented people we have here??? It's at the same time a wonderful and horrible feeling...LOL

It's great to have these boards to come to and discuss ideas, and hear input from gamers from across the world. This place reminds me of how poor my DMing is, but at the same time motivates me to ever strive higher--and for that I thank ALL of you!

I try not to be intimadated too much by the excellent & imaginative people here. I try to follow the great advice I get on monster tactics (B.A.D.D. is GOOD), setting (my PCs are quaking in fear of Khirdet now ) and even writing (Nightfall inspired me to submit some magic items to the Relics & Rituals 2 Open Call *fingers crossed*).

I know I can't hope to be as great a DM as some people here (I won't embarass them by mention... aw hell Piratecat, Dr. Midnight and Nemmrle are just about the best DMs I've ever read about at least according to their Story Hours), but I know that my DMing skills have been vastly improved by my time here.

Since I've only been gaming a year, I'd say you guys have helped me mature a lot. I barely even went through that awkward little period where everybody has +5 keen vorpal intelligent swords and a couple of staves of the arch-magi.

Being on this board among such creative people just inspires me to work harder myself. It's always been my dream to be a gaming freelancer; now that I have a good job and some free time and motivation, I think I can actually persue that dream.
