[Enchantment] Cleric spells

Here I was, making myself a 5th-level Spontaneous Casting Cloistered Cleric named Alcibiade Malebranche, picking Doom, Random action and Hold Person, and deciding to get the Spell Focus (Enchantment) feat (3.0), thinking that I'll make good use of that feat by picking other Enchantment spells at higher level when I notice that there are 2 (count 'em... 1... 2) Enchantment spells of level 3 and up, Greater Command and Geas/Quest.

I feel... let down.

So, any suggestions (mainly for feats), but also for spells is welcome.

I have access to the following domains: Knowledge, Healing and Protection

I have chosen the following spells:

0: Detect Magic, Read Magic, Purify Food & Drinks, Create Water, Mending and Light
1: Comprehend Languages, Protection from Evil, Random Action, Doom
2: Silence, Hold Person

I am a total non-combatant (AC 14, BAB +2) that will use Sanctuary extensively, and I was thinking of picking up Silent Spell so I may cast spells from the confines of my Silence.

Any comments? Suggestions? Any WotC book is usually fine.

AR

Edit: the rest of the party will probably consist in a rogue, a monk and a wizard.

How about summoning?

If you are non-combatant yourself, you could at least get someone to fight for you. :)

You could pick a God and domain that gives access to alot of enchantment spells, or you could try something else.

Abjuration might be a good focus, since Clerics have alot of protection and banishment type spells.

Extend spell can be very useful to Clerics, since it allows them to double the duration of alot of their buff and protection spells.

I believe there is also a Reach Spell metamagic that lets you use touch spells up to 30 feet away, which can be extremely useful for healing other party members in battle or inflicting harm spells from a safe distance. If you don't get the feat, at least try and get a metamagic rod of it!

Drop the spell focus feat and go with reach spell and silent spell, if you intend to fight from silenced zones. If you do go with spell focus, abjuration is the only way to go with a cleric in my opinion (it works with Dispel). You will also need more than one casting of Sanctuary per day to get adequate use out of it, so you may want to try and get craft wand or wondrous items to get frequent use of this spell.

Your idea of attacking from silence is interesting, but will not be practical as the range is only 15' and most spell casters don't want to get that close to you before they blast you anyway. Also, as you are non combatant, you will probably spend most of your time in the back. If combat is going and someone gets behind you and your comrades and attacks you, your friends will not hear your death scream, and, in the alternative, you may not hear one of your comrades pleas for help or support--or the warning that there is a red dragon coming up behind you and you better run!!!!

Dispel Magic does not allow saving throws, so Spell Focus has no effect on it.
