Enchantments/Feats to make armor lighter/less restrictive?

I was wondering if there are any enchantments or feats that make armor act as a category lighter, lessen the Armor Check Penalty, or increase the Max Dex bonus. I'm aware that there are special materials (Mithril), but I'm looking at something I can put on a Dragonhide Breastplate.

As far as I know their isn't anything that would work with that specific armor. Heavy Armor Optimization and Greater Heavy Armor Optimization (Races of Stone) reduce the Armor Check Penalty of heavy armors and give +1 (each) to the AC that they provide.

That's all I can think of at any rate...
Sorry I couldn't be more help :\

in 3.0 there was a special ability called nimbleness. It was +1 and acted pretty much like mithral (IIRC) with respect to max dex and ACP. I don't know if it's been updated in any of the complete books though.

Warmage

The warmage class has an ability that ignores light armor arcane spell failure. This ability increases to heavier armor over time. In addition, there is a feat that can increase this ability further in the Complete Arcane.

Although this doesn't answer your question I thought I would just throw it out there....
:)

Nimbleness is in Magic of Faerun.
Book of Eldrich Might II (it might be 1) has one called Grace that removed the max dexterity. Has a few others for spellcasting as well.
Arms and Armor has one called Weightless that reduces the weight.

Off the top of my head that is the ones I know. They also are all 3.0 as I have seen them in 3.5 stuff, but then again I pretty much deal with 3.25. :D

Underdark Campaign setting has the Halfweight enchantment, which makes it always count as a light armor.
Edit: Draconomicon also has the Dragoncraft items, which are like Dragonhide, just more expensive and better, counting as a lighter armor like Mithral, as well as providing resistances.

Heroes of Battle has the Guerilla Warrior feat, which reduces the ACP for light and medium armors by one (in addition to improving move silently and hide skills). It also has the Dread Commando prestige class, which reduces it by a total of 4.
