[ENGS] Publisher Tech Support?

Who does one contact for technical support? With regard to my initial experience, I have to say the site's not as user-friendly as it could be. In particular the product upload has some glaring omissions in direction (what file types are supported, etc.). It won't accept my first product (Dawning Star, FYI) because the "thumbnail image is too large." I can't figure out what the heck the problem is. I've resized the thing 10 times and tried 3 different image file types. And, now, when I need some technical support, there's no indication of whom to contact.

Help please.

And uh, you want to contact Twin Rose Chris

You can find him in the Enworld Chatroom nearly 24/7.

I'm sure the dev-kit has contact info for a phone number also?

All popular image types are acceptable: bmp, jpg, png, gif. The maximum size is 200 (width) by 250 (height). Be sure not to confuse thumbnail with the cover image that appears on your product display. All displays on EN World GameStore of "thumbnail" are either 80 width or 40 width. The larger your file, the more time it will take for the customer to load, even a 40 width image.

Actually, I was planning on changing my sig after I got set up as a publisher. I wasn't planning on it taking me a couple of hours. I guess I can change it now, while I'm waiting for some assistance.

I haven't gone near a chat room of any sort in years, and I have no intention of doing so now. No, there's no telephone number I can find anywhere. More commonly, there should be an e-mail along the lines of support@domain.com. Shouldn't there?

That was quick. I'm not confusing anything. My product look a-o-k except it keeps telling me that my thumbnail image is too large. I'm assuming that it's 200x250 pixels (also not clear from the fill-in form. The image I attempted to use is well within those specs, but for some reason it's not accepted.

No, the thumbnail is 80 or 40 pixels wide, as Chris said.

The cover image is 200x250.

I think you still are getting the two confused.

Okay, I figured out what the problem was. I wasn't confused, just the victim of a ghost in the machine. Specifically, and for no reason I can discern, my program was resizing the image back to original size when I saved it.

Thanks for the assistance. I still maintain there should be a technical support contact e-mail address prominently displayed on the site.

Well, there's a "Contact Morrus" link at the bottom of each page. And, for signed up publishers, there's the private GameStore Publishers forum. Couple of options, both of which work.

Not for nothing, but I've never had much luck with the "Contact Morrus" option. Most recent exhibit, I sent you an e-mail on October 5th regarding a leaderboard ad, to which I have yet to receive a response. But the private forum sounds like a good method.
