ENGS to list DTRPG Products

Twin Rose

First Post
The EN World GameStore and DriveThru RPG are happy to announce that they are teaming up to bring you some of the finest in electronic RPG products. Now you can help support EN World through the EN World GameStore, and find your favorite publishers all in one place. The first wave made available includes:

Wizards of the Coast Products from Wizards of the Coast will be added almost daily, all new to PDF, including Dungeons & Dragons, Forgotten Realms and d20 Modern titles.

Malhavoc Press A large selection of great products from Monte Cook's PDF imprint, including the popular Ptolus: The World of Praemal

Necromancer Games All PDF products available from Necromancer Games, including the newly released Mother of All Treasure Tables

Any product listed at the EN World GameStore that says "Off-Site" is in fact a product carried by an associate - you should be able to tell at a glance. We are hoping very soon to bring print products to the EN World GameStore, and a variety of other things, in much the same way, making the EN World GameStore your one-stop place for RPG shopping.

So...what exactly does this mean for ENGS customers? If I see an off-site product listed here, can I buy it with my ENGS user name? Or do I also need one at DTRPG? Can I put it on my bookshelf here? What's the practical ramifications of this deal?

At this time, it means you can find lots of stuff with an interface you may be becomming familiar with - or simply be able to find things through a review here at EN World, or any number of things.

In the future, on the technical side, what we've been discussing is storing in your ENGS bookshelf your receipt information, much like a 'registration key' for some software titles. That way, you don't lose it and have to go looking through emails.

I don't know how possible it is, and something certainly to discuss with the folks over at DriveThru RPG would be some way to buy store credit or a gift certificate at DTRPG with your ENGS balance, or sacrifice part of our sales comission to give Community Supporters their 3% cash back at ENGS that they get through products carried at the store. (This is something I MAY be able to swing, manually, if I can verify the purchase .. I might for orders over X dollars).

Steve Wieck at DTRPG has been very professional and easy to work with, and offered to help in a number of ways so I foresee that we'll be undoubtedly doing more as time goes on.

As the store generates more revenue, the more features and cool things that we can add. I'd definately like to see physical product made available, maybe through an affiliate type process, but keeping it all with the same familiar interface. I'm definately open to suggestions.

The way our "recommended products" works, you may in fact find things you never knew existed, always a plus. And I'd love to hear new ideas on ways we can improve both ENGS, and the way this linking works.
