:) Congrats to all of the nominees! :)

(In case the close the other thread instead of this one...) ;)

Dear Lord!

I'm astonished to find my monster book, the Eden book, Liber Bestarius, nominated. It came out so long ago and there's such a morass of crap to wade through to find anything and the artists, other writers, and I put so much work into that thing. It just blows my mind to find it nominated. Wow. Damn.

I'm...dumbstruck. And happy!

You know when people say "It's an honor just to be nominated?" Well, in this case, for me, it's entirely true.

P.S. Mind you, they spelled my name wrong. :) Matthew Colville.

That book is awesome. I'm happy to have it as part of my library. That doesn't even mention the fact that you were the first to include a badass version of some of the better monsters. A lot of people like to talk about innovation in the game. Well, my friend, your book is one of the few products I've seen in the last year that has this sort of innovation. Actually I think its going to be a tough choice in this category just because all of the entries were just THAT good.

I couldn't agree with Matt Colville more. I'm honored to be nominated for this years ENnie awards. I know some of the people who submitted to the category I'm in, and I'm stunned and honored to receive a nomination. I wish everyone who received this honor good luck, and I support you all - even the ones I'm up against.

To the ENnie judges: My sincerest thanks!

(And Dee will thank you to when she is awake, trust me!)
