That thing is dominating my screen from the announcements bar...is there anyway to not display it or something? It looks great, but I really don't want to have to be staring at that much blank space.

Seems last year a few folks put off voting and then missed the deadline. I'm all for keeping a banner up or popping up a new one when voting almost over, so everyone who wants to vote will be reminded to do so.

Speaking of which, when is the last day to vote? I poked through the Ennies site and didn't see it mentioned (I very possibly could have overlooked it). I am holding off on voting so I can look over some of the nominees, but I don't want to miss the cut-off.

Heh, I didn't even realise it was about voting for the ENnies! 'vote now' was in small text at the end of the sequence and I just never bothered reading it (it was 'advert shaped' and thus automatically ignored).
