Michael, I think you did a fantastic job. I was really, really impressed with what you put together, and I'm really frateful for the effort you meant to.

There were glitches, sure - but I think they had a positive effect, not a negative one. I enjoyed the show, and I think the glitches actually helped with that (they gave me a few things to joke about.

Well done!

Thanks to everyone for your words of encouragement, and special thanks to Greg - I'm sorry for putting you guys on the spot in here. Truth is I do tend to overly critical of myself and so I view anything said to me (or about me) in the worst possible light most of the time. Wretched character flaw yes, but one I try not to let surface.

So, with that said, I'm going to move on. I learned some very important lessons about how Flash works and how to organize an awards show, and I promise that Ennies '04 will be as large a step up from this year as this year was a step up from last.

For one, I'm going to make sure I have TWO WEEKS off before Gencon instead of ONE (or rather, less than a week).

Take care all. I'm driving around the country again, and might get to see you soon (indeed, I'll be in P-kitty's neighborhood tonight as I go towards New Hampshire ).

Oh, and I humbly submit the idea to create the Joseph Miller Award and the Random Fan Award, just so those guys don't get left out in future ceremonies.

LOL! Thanks... but what would the Joseph Miller Award be for? For most entertaining Ennies Receptiant ;-)

PS: The Ennies Award Ceremony was awesome and the perfect length in my estimation and i know that it will be even better next year... and I'll have to come up with a better word than awesome to describe it ;-)
