E.N. Publishing is looking for someone to act as project lead for devlopment of an upcoming book. The book in question is a book of puzzles and riddles. Not just short verses which have an answer (although they could be included), but actual logic problems and so forth which can be applied in a fantasy setting.
As an example - one which appealed to me on a thread recently was pretty simple - a sealed room with a magic mouth counting down to zero. A lever causes the count to reset. The PCs assume that something bad will happen when the count reaches zero, and so keep pulling the level while trying to work out how to get out. In fact, all that happens when the counter reaches zero is that the door opens.
Also things along the lines of the old classis two-door scenario with one guardian who always tells the truth and one who always lies, and the PCs have one question they can ask. One door leads to good stuff, the other to bad stuff. That sort of thing (the answer, of course, being that you ask one of the guardians what the other would say if you asked him what wa behind his door).
The project lead is responsible for organising text (possibly by open calls), art and layout. We are looking for someone who has produced at least one product before, and would like to see a sample of this product.
Payment is royalty based.
