Enter the Matrix

I finally picked up a copy of the Enter the Matrix game, and have been pretty happy with it so far. I especially like the various styles of play, from driving to strait up combat and unique situations like shooting out the tire of a jet from the control tower. Though i love the entertwining of the game and the movie I did not like that certain lines are repeated verbatim. I haven't finished it yet, but i am really enjoying it so far.

There is a hacking screen in the game, has anyone found any codes?

I wasn't really impressed. The fighting was good, but by the end all I ever did was
1. Focus and hit mouse button 3(lets you dodge bullets)
2. Disarm the person
3. Rinse and Repeat

Ghost's boards are much harder then Niobe's because he has a couple of "boss" parts early in the game. I spent about 15 hours beating both, the second time through I just breezed through it.

I just finished playing through Naiobi's half of the game on easy. I was not too impressed. You're right, the combat was a little weak, so I tried as hard as possible to make the fights more interesting, by trying to find combos by varying the button and thumbstick directions. I did not have any real success, but I am not really very good at fighting games, so that could be me.

What I'm more curious about now is the Hacking portion of the game, which I assumed was just enter a code and go, but I find that it is not. It seems to emulate dos, which sucks for me since my first PC was Win 3.1, and the only dos I know is format utilities and the like.

Has anyone had any luck with the hacking?

No, but then I haven't played the game. This might help you though. You could also try asking at the Gamefaqs forums, just click on the link for your platform of choice at the top of the page and follow the appropriate links until you get to the forums for EtM (at the platform page there is a top ten list of games for faq and message boards, check there first).

Heya:

I enjoyed the game. I finished it with Niobe and mostly finished it with Ghost. I'm a dirty cheater, however, and used the infinite focus hack. ;)

The gameplay was okay, but what I really enjoyed were the cutscenes, which were clearly filmed along with the movie. Very nice. My favorite: Niobe and Persephone, even though Jada Pinket Smith put _zero_ effort in both tries. ;) Monica Belucci was completely professional. Impressive.

Take care,

I really liked the Ghost story better than the scenes with Niobi, pretty much because Jada Pinkett-Smith did seem so stoney, which I belive was mostly character, but may have partially been shock at beoing in a video game. :) Particularly I liked the look into Ghost's heart, which might have easily been all guns and existentialism, but was in fact great unrequieted love, which drove him. Not for Niobi, as one might expect, but for Trinity.
