Oh Boy! :D

I think the reruns are holding up well to second viewings. :)

BTW Who's the tightarse who won't allow the showing of DS9 reruns?

Too COOL!

I've been saying they should have him as a guest star all along, especially with the whole 'Temporal cold war' thing. Now all they need is ziggy.

Cool!

Not to be mean, but...

Since I could not stand Quantum Leap, this just makes me like Enterprise even less. The last thing the show needs is being more closely linked with a TV series from nine years ago. Just IMHO.

You certainly wouldn't want to link to a show from nine years ago when you're already linked to TV series and movies in every decade since the 1960's? Just an observation... :D

Quantum Leap was a GREAT show that had heart and really likable characters in Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell. They have perfect chemistry together. I thought Dean should've been the "Dr. McCoy" of Enterprise from the start. I can see why they didn't, but he sure would beat that stupid alien guy they have now.

No, I see your point. But..the TV series is supposed to be linked to Star Trek. And as many others have already commented, that link is tenuous enough as it is without bringing in the rest of Quantam Leap.

I suppose this is just a degree of frustration. Enterprise is a show I want to like, but it's making it hard.

Capt. Archer's a bit too pussy for me. Bakula should crank it up a notch and become more Kirk-like, then he'd have that sassy Vulcan broad in the sack in no time! :D

j/k btw If I didn't make that clear before. Kinda hadta say that there, ya know?

It's always a tough thing for spin offs to have to live up to predecessors and I think Star Trek spin offs have had an increasingly polarized following with each new incarnation.

From the public you read a lot of "I hope this is better than..." and "They better not..." Most of these statements are preceded by "I was really looking forward to..." and followed by "It'll never be as good as..."

It amazes me they keep trying. By what I've seen of opinions from fans, surely I'm the only one watching anymore. Unless they go and... :D

Frankly, I guess I'm simply not that critical. I appreciate seeing new efforts to capture the genre (and the audience). I'm happy they keep trying because without it, I'm stuck in only-reruns-land and let's face it...those could have been better, as well. ;)
