Don't invoke the name of Babe to defend such crapola as Enterprise!! ;) Thats blasphemy. Babe 2 is one of my favorite movies. :P And for the record I'm a huge star trek fan who has seen every episode of every series but one can only go so long before admiting how badly the writing/concepts have played out. Its time to move on. Frankly, if they really wanted to do somethign interesting they shoul dhave had a series about a non-human crew or a crew of freelancers/pirates or something. A person can only stomach so much self-righteous morally-cumbersome horn tooting.

You seriously don't know? Kirk and Uhura had the first interracial kiss ever shown on television. It was a freakin' historic moment! ;)

- Sir Bob.

Actually, that "inter-racial" kiss was actually a sham. Sure it looked like it happened, but there was no contact, just filmed to look like it was. So I guess what we have here is the first "scene shot to look like an inter-racial kiss"

:)

To be honest, I think Enterise has less to do with Star Trek and more to do with making money and grabbing an established audience.

I mean, it has alot of recognizable factors, but that's where it ends. It's screwing with established Trek history left, right and centre, doing what it wants to do regardless of what has been stated as fact in previous series. For me, that really turns me off. Fair enough, all the series have had continuity problems, but Enterprize is just ignoring established cannon when it feels like it.

I don't mind Enterprize for a bit of Sci Fi, but in my opinion, it aint no Star Trek.

Uhura didn't want to go where every woman had already gone before huh?
