Enterprise to get a 2nd chance in Canada?

It just makes no sense why Paramount would let an important moneymaking property be leased or liscensed to another company to produce. ST is going through difficult times now, but the property has made tons of money in the past- why would they want to lessen their grip over how its developed in the future?

Theyll put it on ice, maybe continue with "second tier" properties like games and novels , then thaw out the TV show when interest is back (or when the collective memory of consumers has faded).

EDIT: Instead of fangroups petitioning and gathering money to save the TV series which gets no ratings, we should all sign petitions to stop a ST prequel movie from being made.

Or if the prequel movie gets made, dont go to see it. People like Berman who fans hate is in power cause Trek still makes money- maybe less but it still does. Paramont like other studios looks at the bottom line not necessarily the quality to the product to life long Trekkers.

Or download it off of the internet, if you really wanna find out how good it is. Personally, I'll probably read Ebert's review on it, to see if I'll go see it. I've pretty much agreed with him on all non-mainly comedic movies, with the exception of The Usual Suspects.

I'd rather sign a petition to remove Berman.

Unfortunately, I am in the minority or else there would have been a picketing in front of Paramount Studios entrance yelling for the removal of Rick Berman by Trek fans. Sadly, Trek fans in California would rather call for more Trek than getting to the root of the franchise's problem: office politics.

So does realizing that Braga hasn't had much to do with this another step in figuring out the root of the problem?

One person at a time. Just because Brannon Braga and Ron D. Moore are friends again (but vowed never to work together) doesn't mean he's off my radar yet.

As for this Trek United, who is their associate and spokesperson, "Al Vinci"? He is said to have been the one to have contacted a Paramount exec late in the evening.

Unless there's quiet, so far, plans to eventually do a "USS Titan" series.... why else would they go out and let fans try to design the ship?
If anything, I'd think that proves beyond a doubt that they aren't going to do a Titans series.

IMHO, what they need to do, is turn Enterprise into a Broadway musical...

If it could happen to the Planet of the Apes and Spaceballs, it could happen to Enterprise.
