ENWorld/ENnies Booth Volunteers: Thanks for Signing-up!

Dear ENWorlders,

My name is Joseph Miller (a.k.a. That Guy from Privateer Press) and I am the business manager for this year's ENnies award ceremony. As part of this year's Gen Con there will be an ENWorld/ENnies booth outside of the Exhibitor's Hall.

The ENnies booth must be staffed from 10am to 6pm Thurs. through Saturday and 10am to 4pm Sunday and we are looking for volunteers to fill the slots the staff and judges cannot fill. We are looking to have 2 volunteers per 2 hour time slot.

The exact duties of the volunteers are still being hammered out, but it is primarily meant to provide ENWorlders a place to come to find pick-up games, have friendly chats with fellow ENWorlders, find out results of the ENnies ceremony, perhaps hand out ENWorlder Nametags (still working on this), perhaps sign-up new members (we may have a dedicated laptop, but we are also looking for volunteers who plan/would not mind bringing their own laptop with them for their shifts... if you are interested in bringing a laptop let us know here as I'd like to keep track of shifts with laptops) or at least let other gamers know about ENWorld with a smile and converstaion. ;-)

Your help would be much apprieciated by myself as any slots not filled will probably have to be filled by myself... and I'd hate to miss out on Gen Con because I was chained to the ENnies booth. ;-)

The following lists the time slots and who has signed-up for each slot (remember 2 volunteers per hour):

Thursday

*Important Note: We can not tear down the booth until around 4pm Sunday so if you can volunteer for these slots you'll be my bestest friend. ;-)

I helped watch the Enworld booth last year a bit, and at Socal helped watch the Valar and TRS booth too.

I dont have a solid schedule, I'll be floating around (gonna try to do some mini tourneys) but I'd be happy to help when i'm not doing anything else.

Chances are I'd definatly help for tearing down the booth. For slots that arent filled that you end up working alone I'll give you my cell # and i'f i'm not tied down elsewhere i'll bail ya out when ya need it.
