Okay,

Who's game for some yahoo fantasy baseball?

Also who was in it last year?

I'm going to have to insist that it be head to head anything else is just well not sport like. Sports are wins and losses not some silly point total.

Not bad, Brother, thanks. I got a new job a couple months ago that actually requires I work (imagine that) so I haven't been around these parts as much.

But I'm in for Fantasy Baseball. I got destroyed in the ENWorld Fantasy Football league, so I'll see if I can do better with baseball. Are you doing an autodraft?

I'm still a little unsure about some of the scoring, but I think I have a good enough grasp. Should be fun.

I hear you their. I haven't been around as much as before do to a job promotion. (As in a new job function not as in new pay)

The scoring is relatively simple. We will be doing head to head so there will be one possible win for each category. Say you and I are playing this week. You have a better batting avg than I but I have more Home Runs and that we both have the same many RBIs for the week.

You would win one game for the avg.
You would lose one game for the HR.
and we would tie on the RBIs.

so we would be 1-1-1


Of course theirs more like 9 t0 10 categories so the real weekly scores will have more wins, loses and so on.

And is it just luck or chance as to how many games your players play in the given week? Like for the Home Runs stat, one player may have a couple extra games played during the week than his opponent. Right? I'm sure if you plan your week properly, you can maximize games, but that's how it functions, correct?

That is correct, though most of the time all the teams have 2 days off a week. I believe that is still the avg but sometimes there will be weeks where they play all 7 days.
