Teams look pretty good. I myself could use a center. I am willing to trade Olli Jokinen(Fla-C) and Brendan Morrison(Van-C)/Brenden Morrow (Dal - LW).

Anyone interested?

Interested in Sergei Federov?

I'd happily trade him for Morrison and Morrow.

Hey, Comcast came and said they fixed it for real this time, so I should be pretty active on this thing.

That said, I think it would be a good idea if we move discussions of trades and whatnot over to the league board, so we can act on them, and not have to switch screens so much.

Yeah, but then I'll never get my post count to 1,000 :)

Here's how it works:

Each week, you play against another team. During the week, as you accumulate stats, each stat column is compared to your opponent's. At the end of the week, the winner in each stat column gets a "win", the loser gets a "loss" and if the stats are tied, each gets a "tie". So, for example, if you have 14 goals, 10 assists, and a +/- of 15 , and your opponent gets 9 goals, 15 assists, and a +/- of 15, you each get 1 win, 1 loss, 1 tie.

So, in this pool, goalies aren't quite as important as skaters. They have less stats, and good goaltending can't get you as many wins as a good bunch of skaters. Also, having good players at each position is less important that having a good all-around team, as well as someone to take their place should they be injured (IIRC, none of us have a spare d-man on the bench, which would suck if you lost a d-man).

Thanks Agamon, that answer all of my questions:)

I will give you Olli Jokinen(Fla-C) and either Brendan Morrison(Van-C) or Brenden Morrow (Dal - LW) for Sergei Federov. As much as I don't like him, he is a decent player.

No thanks. I'm pretty happy with my Centres and was hoping for Morrison (as he is a Canuck) and Morrow becasue i'd like to reinforce the Left Wing.

Think it over though, it's not like "Federov Mania" is running wild...the door is still open.
