I have been wondering why there are no ENWorld sanctioned events - module is designed/picked by members, GM's to run the games, and board members to play it.

Or at least seminars. ;)
Yeah, the modules are already done, we could use the ones CMG compiled from posts here.

Why the heck hasn't this been done?

I'll have a few pickup games to run, and one of the guys from my home group will have something for Shadowrun (3e).

Ok, got my schedule finalized. I'm running a HARP pick-up game on Saturday, from 1-5.

I may run another round-robin GM'ing game from 7 to midnight Saturday night as well.

Nuts, I got into the Iron DM as a player (I really wanted to be a DM!), so the HARP game is out for me. I'd like to try it. I ran a summer-long RMSS campaign once that was a lot of fun.

Der Kluge: Are you the one running the round-robin DM game on Thurs at 1pm? I signed up for that. It sounds like a cool idea.

Point 1 - I can run HARP any time after noon on Saturday. So, I could run it late in the evening if there is interest. All I have schedule on Saturday is an 8-noon (CMG Mark's game).

Point 2 - Yes, and no. I am the organizer for the round-robin game (I am running it on Thursday and Friday), but I'm not really "running it" per se. We all will run it. And yes, you will love it. :) I look forward to meeting you there.

Next week, if it hasn't already been done, I'll start a thread for pick-up game signups. I figured I'd wait a week-1.5 weeks after registration opened so that people would have their official schedules worked out.

Most people have to drive far away on Sunday, so gaming tends to be really light.

Although it's far away enough, I should see what airfare might cost me. Hmm.

One pickup game I played last year was 1KBWC (http://www.corngolem.com/1kbwc/). We went to the Ram hoping to meet some ENWorlders at the post award get together. We got there early and took a table in the gaming area. Before we knew it, we were a few pitchers in and it was 3am. We had so much fun we forgot to look around for the get together and failed to meet anyone.

Hehehe, the cards got more and more messed up as the beer flowed.
