ENworld responsiveness problems?

At the moment I find that around about 5pm GMT each day the ENworld boards become completely unresponsive, and my browser often times out when attempting to access a page. It is fine during the rest of the day, but becomes unusable at around about that time (for a period of about 5 hours).

Does anybody else experience this? Is it a general problem due to visitor numbers, a UK problem or just a Plane Sailing problem?

I have a horrible feeling that it's a "Morrus put too many database driven sites on the one server" problem. There have been three added recently, plus some newsfeeds shooting out in various directions. Maybe it was a little ambitious!

I'm trying to choose what to cut down on. It's hard to choose, though!
