Well Subspace access would be for people that take powers or abilities that directly imply access to Subspace (like Teleportation or Telepathy or the like). Subspace will naturally come up, but The Glow infection will not guarantee the ability to manipulate Subspace, but you may see a Star Door from time to time.

Ahh, ok. The wiki mentioned the Glow sometimes giving people an ability to enter Subspace at will, but we can assume that comes from long exposure and experience.

That's a good assumption: Scott was exposed to it for quiiite sometime and yet still could not enter "at will" by the end, though he did have a few unintentional jaunts through Star Doors and people's minds.
