EnWorlders at Origins?

1. The Wednesday Day of Courage events: Where in the con center are they held? These are taking place before registration, and I'd like to know where I'm going. The only map on the site is for the exhibit hall, which doesn't help much.

A few years back, all of that stuff was held in the north end of the convention center. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be there. You can check to see where the RPGA stuff is being held during the rest of the con. Should be in the same place.

2. What is the best entrance to use to get to the playing areas? (North, south, east west.) I'd hate to have to walk around the building because I showed up at the south entrance and the north one was the only one being used on Wednesday! (That's a BIG building, and I'm an OLD guy!)

The north end is normally for RPGA and stuff like that. A lot of the RPG events are in the middle of the convention center, and a fair share of them are upstairs. There is an escalator if that helps any. I would use the street entrance on the west side if at all possible - I think those are locked at night, but open during the day.

I'd definitely be up for an ENWorld dinner one night, especially given that I'm usually so busy at GenCon that I can't swing such things. Any chance of picking a night we're not all busy/leaving town?

Friday or Saturday night are going to be the best though the busiest.

I agree with Crothian. Friday and Saturday are what I am considering my big days of the convention. Friday could work well as I know a few of us are planning on staying pretty late because of Red, White and Boom on that night in Columbus. Unfortunately that stands the potential to make the downtown area even more crowded than normal.

Saturday evening could also work well though. I believe my games "official" games will be ending at 6pm on Friday and Saturday. I am thinking we could try to meet up for food (and drink for those so inclined) around 6:30pm or so on each of those days. We can just choose a place and whoever can show up is welcome to. We can leave the host/hostess with info that we will be known as the EnWorld crew, so people that show up early or late can just ask for them and be directed to where we are at. I lean towards Arena District eating as it is plentiful and close.

After dinner/drinks there will still be plenty of time for gaming for those interested. (Especially on Friday night when the fireworks don't even start until 10pm and it taking probably an hour or so for the traffic to clear after they are over).

I'll be there doing the photos for Silven Crossroads.

I will be all over the con, but also am GM'ing a Blue Rose Friday night game and a Hackmaster Saturday night game

be sure to smile for the camera
