EnWorlders at Origins?

Any night is good for me. All my games end by 6:00 every day except Friday...no idea how long the Star Wars minis tournament is supposed to last. And I'm definitely down for Big Bar on 2, where I spent most of the con last year.

Anyone want to organize something real, or is it going to be seat-of-the-pants as usual?

Id rather have a definate plan as I havent ever been to a con and am probably only able to be there for one night. Id love to meet some ENWorlders and hopefully party a little. If anybody would like a cohort/convention apprentice to show around Id love the advice. Otherwise, I have no problems posting my cell number and getting random calls to ask me to a bar or whatever.

I will try to post something with a bit more concrete to it by late Monday night. I will probably post the name and brief directions to a restaurant and time and work from there. Feel free to keep adding suggestions as we go!

I would love to get together with people on either Thursday or Saturday night and meet some other board members. I am coming in from Dayton, OH Wednesday evening and staying with a friend outside of Columbus.

En Worlders Saturday Dinner Meetup

Okay, here is the meetup plan for those interested and able to make it.

Who: En Worlders and your friends
What: Dinner (and drinks for those so inclined)
When: Saturday, July 2nd @ 6:30pm-ish
Where: Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant

Gorden Biersch is in the Arena District a short (5 minute) walk from the Convention Center. A map is available from the link above (after you choose the Columbus, OH location). It is a restaurant like atmosphere with good food and good drink. I have a game until 6pm and will be there in the 6:30pm-ish with a couple other friends. I will let the hostess know we are the "En World" group, so just ask for them when you show up.

If you think you can make it, please post here so we can guesstimate how big of a table we should get. Don't worry though, if you don't post here don't let that stop you from making it, we'll make room!

And finally, I chose Saturday night as Friday is Red, White and Boom and downtown is going to be pretty crazy.

I'll be there Thursday and Friday during the day - work related - doing interviews and getting demos of upcoming games from developers. .. and Saturday most likely for fun (I might even manage to get the wife to come along.).
