Hot and humid. We had some storms today and yesterday and that has really not helped things out much.

Another question for the Columbus natives/wise folks:

I'm meeting my Dad for lunch on Saturday. What is nearish to the convention but is easy to get to and has decent parking. Dad will be driving up from Dayton and the last thing he'll want to do after a two hour drive is ask directions from a githyanki.

I can't really say. Most parking down town is in the parking garages and it is impossible to say how fast they will fill up with people for the convention and other things that are going on this weekend.

Downtown is apt to be pretty crowded, but The Arena District which is quite near the Convention Center is used to high capacity events since the Hockey Arena is there. There are parking garages near and a few surface lots around the area. Lot's of places to eat at and most designed to handle the inevitable pre-game rush during hockey season (and other special events). It's hard to say just how crowded downtown will be on Saturday.

we just had a string of 90 degree sunny days, but broke that with some rain and 70s today.

but the rain is supposed to end by Friday (only isolated on Thurs) with 80s and sun for the weekend.

I and a friend will be at the Saturday get together. WE'll probablyt hang around till 10:30 at the latest because of the 11pm Paranioa LARP
